Make-as-you-go quilt- Step 5

Wanted to update you all on the make-as-you-go quilt I'm doing. We are on step 5 of the quilt, which is a fun step, unlike step 4. My goodness, step 4 had us squaring off our triangle half squares. I think that's what they were called. Anyway, lots of cutting involved and I didn't think I'd ever finish. Finally, I got to my last square and could move on. Now comes some fun. Step 5 has us sewing 4 sets of the triangle half squares together to make a pinwheel block. How cool is that! I am learning so much and having so much fun. I have lots more blocks to finish, but I wanted to share one of the blocks with you.
Tootles!

Carlotta, HOW PRETTY!!! Your quilt is looking beautiful girl! I haven't even ironed my squares yet. Can't seem to get myself away from reading and commenting (well not on everyone's) blogs! I guess I'm definitely addicted to blogging again--and this time worse than EVER before!

Ooh! Very pretty block!! I'm right there with you -- I hate squaring up my blocks. Now it's going to be a lot more fun!

I'm glad you're a part of this! Thanks for posting!
