WooHoo!! I am up to date with the ycmt quilt. I must say I am quite pleased with this quilt and am already thinking of new quilts I can make with this pattern. We still have the borders to figure out, and things like that, but overall I am pleased.

Carlotta, Looks GREAT!!! There's a comment on my blog from today for you explaining a bit more (I hope!) for you. Thanks for the worrying--I've decided to try to just put everyhting in the good Lord's hands and let him figure everything out! Of course, I'm not very good at letting go after I give things up. ;) ~Shelly~

Hi Carlotta!
Good news -- the final steps (of the quilt top) are posted on the new blog - http://www.youcanmakethis.com/blog Then we'll move on to the quilting part. :) Thanks for being a part of it!

I love the scrappy, bright colors of this quilt! It is turning out beautifully.

It's a work of art. I recently chaired an antique and arts show and we displayed several quilts in the textiles area - surprise they were consistently among the most popular items. We had a snake quilt and a crazy quilt that got lots of attention - very folk artsy. You're very talented, I couldn't do that.

I love how scrappy it is! I am always so worried about things "coordinating", but yours looks great!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and the sweet comments about my quilt. I still have to put my borders on, but no big deal since we're still waiting on the next steps to be posted. Now that the steps have been posted slower I'm struggling to keep my interest up--I like to start and finish a project...don't like to have things hanging over my head unfinished.
